"Long before SF villains developed the delusions of grandeur that drive them to conquer entire galaxies, certain literary ne'er-do-wells possessed, instead, delusions of 'glandeur,' wherein a Grand Quest comprised the simple pursuit of female pulchritude. Resnick's GIRLS FOR THE SLIME GOD offers a nostalgic look back at several classic stories that defined this earlier - some would say, less elegant - literary era. A must-have volume for anyone curious about the lecherous past of modern science fiction." - Jack Nimersheim
